In the north coast of Costa Rican Pacific, in the middle of Panamá and El Coco Beaches, it is located in a cove this beautiful and small beach, with about 400 mts of longitude. Ocotal’s sand is a mixture of champagne and black sand, this makes the landscape this place offers to the visitor hard to find in another place. 

For those enthusiastic of sport fishing, Ocotal is one of the places in Guanacaste Pacific coast that work as starting point for this activity. Toward the south of this beach is Azul Bay (also well-known as Pez Vela). There it can also be practiced the sport fishing. Also, Ocotal is a good place to dive.
