With its several clear and dark sand beaches, with its exuberant vegetation, with the its coral reef’s charm and with the Caribbean flavor its people offer; Cahuita is one of the favorites tourist places for national and foreign people.



Located in the Costa Rican South Caribbean, this place offers all kind of facilities so the tourist enjoys his visit.



In the north side, in Negra Beach you can practice surfing (This beach has an excellent beach break). In the area of Cahuita National Park, is Blanca Beach, with about 3 Kms. of longitude, from the Park’s entrance to Point Cahuita. In this beautiful beach it is necessary to remember that there are a slope and a strong surge in the initial area, for that reason is not recommended to swim or to go into the sea. It is safer to take a bath in the intermediate sector that finish in the mouth of Suárez river.

Near Punta Cahuita, is the coral reef, one of the best places to dive and to admire the beauty that corals, crustaceans and fishes of all colors offer.

After the point, there are 3 Km. of clear sand beach, until Puerto Vargas.
